Nous ICFOnians

En els anys des de la fundació de l'ICFO el 2002, l'institut ha evolucionat contínuament per abordar una àmplia gamma de reptes apassionants. Això ha estat possible gràcies a les contribucions d'un grup divers de dones i homes que han pujat a bord per a afegir les seves habilitats úniques als nous i actuals projectes de l’ICFO.

Al novembre, vint-i-dos ICFOnians es van incorporar o van prendre una nova posició a l'institut. Estem desitjant formar equip amb vosaltres.

Dr. Ibrahim Akkaya joined the Medical Optics group led by ICREA professor at ICFO Dr. Turgut Durduran as a Postdoctoral Researcher. 

Dr. Sandra Buob, who recently defended his thesis in the Ultracold Quantum Gases group, has recently started a position as a postdoctoral researcher in the Ultracold Quantum Gases group led by ICREA professor at ICFO Dr. Leticia Tarruell.

Dr. Adrian Ceferino joined the Quantum Nano-Optoelectronics group led by ICREA professor at ICFO Dr. Frank Koppens as a Visiting Scientist.

Yuanbin Chen joined the Quantum Information Theory group led by ICREA Professor at ICFO Dr. Antonio Acín as a Visiting PhD student.

Èlia Diéguez Gurnés joined the Single Molecule Biophotonics group led by ICREA professor at ICFO Dr. María García Parajo as a student.

Kamil Roman Dutkiewicz joined the Quantum Optics Theory group led by ICREA Professor at ICFO Dr. Maciej Lewenstein as a student.

Sondos Elsehimy joined the Atomic Quantum Optics group led by ICREA professor at ICFO Dr. Morgan Mitchell as a PhD student.

Ainhoa Fraile Pulido joined the Neurophotonics and Mechanical Systems Biology group led by Prof. Michael Krieg as a student.

Dr. Roberto González Pousa joined the Quantum Information Theory group led by ICREA Professor at ICFO Dr. Antonio Acín as a Postdoctoral Researcher.

Dr. Wulyu Jiang joined the CO₂ Mitigation Accelerated by Photons group led by Prof. Dr. F. Pelayo García de Arquer as a Postdoctoral Researcher.

Albert Jiménez Isábal joined the Theoretical Quantum-Nano Photonics group led by ICREA Prof. Dr. Darrick Chang.

Dr. Patricia Juárez joined the SLN group led by Dr. Pablo Loza-Alvarez as a Visiting Scientist.

Leon Kasperek joined the Neurophotonics and Mechanical Systems Biology group led by Prof. Michael Krieg as a student.

Jaemin Kim joined the Quantum Information Theory group led by ICREA Professor at ICFO Dr. Antonio Acín as a Visiting PhD student.

Dr. Roshan Krishna Kumar took a new role as Visiting Scientist in the Quantum Nano-Optoelectronics group led by ICREA professor at ICFO Dr. Frank Koppens.

Dr. Maria Marsal changed roles in the SLN group led by Dr. Pablo Loza-Alvarez and is now Staff Researcher.

Abraham Nava Mireles joined the Quantum Nano-Optoelectronics group led by ICREA professor at ICFO Dr. Frank Koppens as a PhD Student.

Stefano Pedarra joined the Outreach team in KTT unit led by Dr. Silvia Carrasco.

Núria Rego Falagan joined the Quantum Photonics with Solids and Atoms group led by ICREA professor at ICFO Dr. Hugues de Riedmatten as a PhD student.

Xènia Rodríguez Urtòs joined the KTT unit led by Dr. Silvia Carrasco as KTT Office Support Specialist.

Dr. Roger Tormo takes a new position at ICFO after his thesis defense, as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Quantum NanoElectronics and NanoMechanics group led by Prof. Dr Adrian Bachtold.

Dr. Xiaoxia Yang joined the Nanophotonics Theory group led by ICREA professor at ICFO Dr. Javier García de Abajo.
