Microwave Photonics for Quantum Sensing

In the past two decades, superconducting quantum circuits have made impressive progress as a platform for quantum information science by manipulating the interaction of microwave photons and the artificial atoms such as the Josephson junction-based qubits. We will discuss how the microwave photonics technique is applied to the broad physics research topics, which include

  • Observing the electron fluidity,
  • Sensing low energy microwave photons, and
  • Searching the dark matter QED axion.
