INSPIRING CAREERS SEMINARS SERIES
Inspiring Careers are a series of seminars designed to inspire ICFO’s researchers by highlighting successful careers of scientists that have taken unconventional paths, with the objectives to open new opportunities when it comes to deciding about the next career step.
A wide range of career options, focusing on those less explored, will be presented through a journey into the professional experience of the invited speakers.
A networking session with coffee will be held after the seminars to follow the conversation in a more informal setting.
It is a great pleasure to host, as opening speaker, Dr. Montserrat Vendrell, Partner at ALTA Life Sciences
Dr. Monteserrat Vendrell will share with us her experience, starting from her academic career, followed by several leading positions at Parc científic de Barcelona, Biocat and BIST, up to her current one in ALTA Life Sciences. She will explain how she made such great achievements, and share advices to the scientists at ICFO, who are looking for alternatives to academic careers.
The opening seminar will be held on November 24 from 16:00 to 17:00 in the ICFO Auditorium.
The seminar will be followed by a Networking session with coffee in the NEST Hall.
