Biography:

Dr. Lalit Kumar is a distinguished veteran in the laser industry, renowned for his exceptional contributions and expertise. His academic journey began with a strong foundation, as he completed his M.Sc. in Chemistry from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee in the year 1978, followed by a Ph.D. in Bio-Inorganic Chemistry from IIT Bombay in the year 1983. He also was a postdoc and research associate at IIT Bombay until 1984. During his PhD and postdoc tenure, he published more than 10 publications in international journals.

In the early stages of his professional career, Dr. Lalit Kumar took on the role of Area Sales Manager at SIMCO Global, where he honed his skills and knowledge in the field. His tenure from 1984 to 1988 was marked by a commitment to excellence and a keen understanding of the laser industry's intricacies.

In 1988, fuelled by his passion for lasers and a visionary outlook, Dr. Kumar embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by founding Laser Science Services India. This milestone marked the inception of a dynamic enterprise that would go on to shape the landscape of the laser industry in India.
