All day
Place: ICFO Auditorium
Jens Uhlig (Lund University)
TUTORIAL:
"KiMoPack - an open toolbox for the analysis of development spectroscopy"
Abstract:
In this workshop we explore how to use KiMoPack to analyze data measured with optical transient absorption spectroscopy. We will go beyond standard decay analysis and discuss linear and non linear target models. We will also discuss how to include other measured spectra, combine datasets measured with different techniques such as fluoresence spectroscopy or x-ray spectroscopy and how to extract meaningful errors on our models.
Bio:
Diplom at Jena University (Germany) (High TC superconductors).
Researcher: Ilmenau (Germany), Surface spectroscopy PhD 2012: Lund (Sweden), Laser-plasma based ultrafast X-ray spectroscopy
Postdocs:
- NIST (Boulder Colorado USA, Laser based X-rays and Detector development)
- ESRF (European Synchrotron Radiation Facility, Grenoble, France, X-ray spectroscopy). Tenure track to Docent in Lund (Sweden) starting 2014, (ultrafast optical and X-ray spectroscopy, Transition metal complexes) Senior Lecturer at Lund since 2018, (studying ultrafast charge carrier dynamics in transition metal complexes and photo-electro-catalysis using optical and x-ray methods, Data Analysis)
50+ Beamtimes at different large scale research facilities, Develop and
50+ use several table-top installations from source over sample and
50+ detector to the Data Analysis thereafter
