ICFO- San Joan de Déu Joint Lab

Researchers and clinicians of Sant Joan de Déu (SJD) Institut de Recerca  and ICFO recently met at SJD for the Annual Meeting of the ICFO-SJD Joint Lab. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the the main advances of the different ongoing collaborative research projects and to update the status of their activity plans. The productive meeting made it possible to share insights on this ongoing collaborative framework, and to look for further synergies and new upcoming project opportunities. After the session all the participants had the opportunity to visit the newly SJD Paediatric Cancer Centre (PCCB). 

The ICFO-SJD Joint Lab is a joint project initiated in 2020 between Institut de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu and ICFO to promote interdisciplinary research activities to boost the development and application of photonic technologies as innovative solutions for the care of the neonatal and pediatric population.
