Prof. Romain Quidant

Romain Quidant awarded for his role in the development of new methods for detection and treatment of cancer. ICREA Prof. Romain Quidant, leader at ICFO of the Plasmon Nano-optics Group, has been awarded by the Prince of Girona Foundation for ”excelling and showing a high development potential in his field”.

The awardees are citizens or residents in the EU, aged 16-35, and working in the social, scientific-academic, cultural-sports or business spheres. The objective of the Prince of Girona Foundation is to explore the social, technological, economic and political conditions which favour the emergence and development of the entrepreneuring spirit in young people.

The awards will be presented by the Prince and Princess of Asturias and Girona on June 22 within the framework of the Forum IMPULSA in Girona, Spain.
