Radiant Light, the new Hi-Tech photonic company, will be launched at the world’s largest exhibition of laser and optical technology. The newly established company, Radiant Light, which is the first spin-off from ICFO, will launch a new product at LASER 2005, the world largest exhibition of laser and optical technology. Blue Stream is an ultrafast frequency doubler which enhances power capability and efficiency in femtoseconds or picoseconds light pulses. This is one of the novel products from Radiant Light which will be on show at Laser 2005 Exhibition [Booth number B2.631], from 13th to 16th of June in Munich, Germany.

Radiant Light designs, develops and commercialises advanced tunable optical systems, focusing on OPOs and Frequency Conversion Instruments, which find a wide range of applications in the environmental, scientific and medical sectors.

The scientist behind Radiant Light is the ICREA Research Professor at ICFO, Majid Ebrahim-Zadeh, OSA Fellow, and one of the top researchers in optical frequency conversion technology in the world.
