Nuevos ICFOnians
Veinte ICFOnians se han unido a los diferentes grupos de investigación, unidades e instalaciones del ICFO durante el mes de enero
En los años desde la fundación del ICFO en 2002, el instituto ha evolucionado continuamente para abordar una amplia gama de retos apasionantes. Esto ha sido posible gracias a las contribuciones de un grupo diverso de mujeres y hombres que han subido a bordo para aportar con sus habilidades únicas a los nuevos y actuales proyectos de la ICFO.
En enero, veinte ICFOnians se incorporaron o tomaron una nueva posición en el instituto. Estamos deseando formar equipo con vosotros:

Beñat Albizbeaskoetxea Sanchez joined the Quantum Nano-Optoelectronics group led by ICREA professor at ICFO Dr. Frank Koppens as a student.
Andrea Alessandrini joined the Nanophotonics Theory group led by ICREA professor at ICFO Dr. Javier García de Abajo.
Jana Liu Bonet Fernandez joined the Quantum Photonics with Solids and Atoms group led by ICREA professor at ICFO Dr. Hugues de Riedmatten as a student.
Dr. Marcelo Chávez joined the CO2 Mitigation Accelerated by Photons group led by Prof. Dr. F. Pelayo García de Arquer as a Postdoctoral Researcher.
Dr. Emanuele Distante takes a new position in the Quantum Photonics with Solids and Atoms group led by ICREA professor at ICFO Dr. Hugues de Riedmatten as a Visiting Scientist.
Ioannis Draganidis joined the Thermal Photonics group led by Prof. Dr. Georgia Papadakis as a PhD student.
Tomás Fernández Martos joined the Quantum Information Theory group led by ICREA Professor at ICFO Dr. Antonio Acín as a PhD student.
Christian García joined the Medical Optics group led by ICREA professor at ICFO Dr. Turgut Durduran as a Project Research Engineer.
Dr. Nathan Lundbland joined the Atomic Quantum Optics group led by ICREA professor at ICFO Dr. Morgan Mitchell as a Visiting Professor.
Erik Luszczak André joined the Quantum Information Theory group led by ICREA Professor at ICFO Dr. Antonio Acín as a student.
Oscar Michel González joined the Optoelectronics group led by ICREA professor at ICFO Dr. Valerio Pruneri as a student.
Dr. Indrajit Mondal joined the CO2 Mitigation Accelerated by Photons group led by Prof. Dr. F. Pelayo García de Arquer as a Research Fellow.

Dr. Lorenzo Orsini, who recently defended his thesis in the Quantum Nano-Optoelectronics group, has recently started a position as a postdoctoral researcher in the Quantum Nano-Optoelectronics group led by ICREA professor at ICFO Dr. Frank Koppens.
Dr. Martin Renner joined the Quantum Information Theory group led by ICREA Professor at ICFO Dr. Antonio Acín as a Postdoctoral researcher.
