New ICFOnians
Twenty-eight ICFOnians joined the different ICFO research groups, units and facilities during the month of March.
In the years since ICFO’s founding in 2002, the institute has continuously evolved to tackle a wide range of exciting challenges. This has been possible thanks to the contributions of a diverse group of women and men who have come onboard to add their unique skills to ICFO’s new and ongoing projects.
In March, many new ICFOnians joined the institute or took a new position.
Ashfaq Ahammed joins ICFO as a student in the Photon Harvesting in Plants and Biomolecules research group led by Prof Dr Nicoletta Liguori.
Dr Francesco Andreoli takes a new position at ICFO as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Theoretical Quantum-Nano Photonics research group led by ICREA Prof Dr Darrick Chang.
Óscar Beltrán joins ICFO as a PhD student in the Attoscience and Ultrafast Optics research group led by ICREA Prof Dr Jens Biegert.
Laura Carreté Montalvo joins ICFO as an internship student at the Corporate Communications unit.
