ICFO’s emergency action plan

The expansion of the ICFO facility has necessitated the re-evaluation of the emergency action plan for the institute. An ongoing project is underway which has included, to date, the creation of a new emergency protocol, the organization of many in the ICFO management team into crisis management roles, first aid training, and most recently, preliminary fire rescue. A group of ICFOnians received theoretical information as well as hands-on instruction on the use of equipment for basic fire extinguishing techniques.
