In the frame of the Photonics21 Annual Meeting 2013 Photonics21 President Dr. Michael Mertin and the Executive Board provided the Photonics Multiannual Strategic Roadmap Towards 2020 – Photonics Driving Economic Growth in Europe to Neelie Kroes, Vice-President of the European Commission. The photonics roadmap has been defined by the European photonics community and outlines the photonics research and innovation priorities for 2014 – 2020.
